The BTX line is the ultimate general-purpose star drive screw. The bronze coating provides a quality exterior corrosion-resistance, ideal for outdoors and in treated lumber. It has a type-17 tip that allows the screw to start quickly and reduces the need for pre-drilling. The true flat head with cutting nibs allows the screw to cleanly counter sink. Common uses for these screws include: exterior and interior wood framing; decks, rails, porches, walls, floors, lateral bracing, fencing, siding and roofing; laminating beams, girders and posts; concrete forms and for general construction, remodeling and repairs.
