Aluminum sleeves are designed for forming an eye or loop on wire rope. Aluminum construction makes them soft enough to be crimped but still provides ample strength and corrosion resistance. When properly applied, aluminum sleeves have the same breaking strength as the cable they are crimped onto. If used on PVC-coated cable, remove the coating from the assembly area before swaging. Sleeves can be fastened using the appropriate-sized crimping and swaging tool. Designed for use on the cable of the same size diameter.
