Product Overview

Durock Underlayment with EdgeGuard is an ideal substrate for floor and ceramic tile countertop installations. The 1/4" thickness helps eliminate transition trim when abutting carpet or wood flooring and minimizes level variations with other finish materials. It can be applied directly over old substrate on countertops to save time.

Durock panels have a rough and smooth surfaced side,it is recommended to use the smooth side for tile mastic and rough side for mortar
Fasten at 8-inch off center
Fit ends of Durock closely together but not forced,leaving 1/8-inch gaps between boards
Easy to cut and fasten
Will not rot, warp, delaminate or disintegrate
