Product Overview

All Treat Farms Red Mulch is derived from fine textured recovered forest products from Canada’s forest industry. It has been coloured red using a natural colourant and its colour will last all season long. Use around trees, shrubs and ﬂowers once plants have developed. Leave a 2-3" (5-7.5 cm) space around tree trunks, home foundations, and wood structures. All Treat Farms Red Mulch should be applied at a 3" (7.5 cm) thickness to achieve the desired weed suppression and moisture retention. Annual top-up is recommended due to the natural decomposition of mulch. To optimize colour, turn the top 1" (2.5 cm) of mulch with a fan rake if it appears dried out after a period of time.
