RFOIL 24" x 10' Roll Reflective Foil Double Bubble Foil Insulation

rFOIL Reflective Insulation is an outstanding thermal insulation and can be used in a wide range of different applications. A reflective insulation is made from a bubble core substrate, with an aluminum foil outer layer. The key to reflective insulation’s performance is the ability of foil to redirect heat radiating towards its surface. Aluminum foil also has very low emittance properties, or an inability to cast heat away from itself into a colder airspace. This low emittance allows foil to help retain heat in cold seasons. Traditional mass insulations have little to no effect on radiating heat gain and loss. Much like a foil survival blanket can protect a person from hypothermia, reflective insulation can prevent heat gain and heat loss in multiple applications. Reflective insulation dramatically reduces summer heat gain and winter heat loss, increasing comfort, and reducing heating and cooling costs in the process.
