BOW CPVC FlowGuard Gold® tubing and fittings are manufactured to ASTM Standard D2846 (Standard Specification for Chlorinated Poly(Vinyl Chloride) (CPVC) Plastic Hot- and Cold Water Distribution Systems) and CSA Standard B137.6 (CPVC Pipe, Tubing, and Fittings for Hot and Cold Water Distribution Systems).

Used to permanently or temporarily cap CPVC tubing
Most often used on conjunction with short lengths ofCPVC tubing to fabricate water hammer arrestors (air chambers) in the CPVC system
