StudSensor(TM) A100 is an edge locating stud finder. Select from two scanning modes to find the edges of wood and metal studs and joists up to 1-1/2" (38 mm) deep. Equipped with WireWarning(R) Detection, the A100 alerts you to live unshielded electrical wiring when scanning in both StudScan and DeepScan(R) Modes. The SpotLite(R) Pointer, LCD screen, and audio tone indicate the location of the stud edge.

- DeepScan(R) Mode doubles the scanning depth to locatethe edges of wood and metal studs up to 1 1/2" (38 mm)
- WireWarning(R) Detection indicates the presence of live,unshielded AC electrical wiring up to 2" (50 mm) deep in both stud scanning modes
- Zircon’s patented “over-the-stud” feature alerts the userif scanning begins over a stud
- SpotLite(R) Pointer shines an arrow-shaped light on thescanned surface to clearly indicate the location of the target
- Translucent base and illuminated "V" marker grooveprovides more accurate marking of target location
- Ergonomically designed grip allows a comfortable holdon the tool for any size hand, at any angle
