Here's How

Measure, mark and tape the rectangle for the headboard on the wall, and paint with a contrasting colour.
Trim the rectangle with your choice of moulding.
There are volumes of possibilities of what you can do with the blank canvas. Try using black or a decorator colour of chalkboard paint. Paint vertical or horizontal stripes, squares, circles, dots, or use stencils.
Shown: We stencilled ‘For the Birds' and ‘Branch Out' with the wall colour. Spray the back of the stencil with spray adhesive to ensure crisp lines.
