Product Overview
Tankless water heaters operate differently than traditional water heaters as they only heat water when it is required instead of storing it. Condensing tankless water heaters use a secondary heat exchanger that uses exhaust to pre-heat the incoming water before it reaches the primary heat exchanger, which results in higher efficiencies. This condensing tankless water heater is state-of-the-art with a uniform energy factor of 0.95. This water heater features: a power direct vent design; the primary heat exchanger is constructed of commercial grade copper, which is more resilient against corrosion; a secondary heat exchanger made of tyle 316 L stainless steel to protect against corrosion; flexible venting options including ULC S636 approved PVC, CPVC, polypropylene pipe, or category III/IV stainless steel venting can be used; internal freeze protection, and multiple safety features; it can be used in residential hydronic heating applications; takes up significantly less space than a tank-type water heater; and electronic ignition means there is no pilot light.
