The Yardbird Chicken Plucker 2.0 saves you time and effort during your backyard chicken processing. Fully defeathering two birds in 15 seconds or less, the Yardbird Plucker revolutionizes what is typically the most painstaking and messy chore when processing chickens, which can take up to 30 minutes per bird if plucked by hand. A conveniently located on/off button is mounted to an extra wide pull handle and eliminates the need for bending over to engage or disengage the motor. It's heavy-duty 1.2 horsepower motor spins a 20" stainless steel feather plate at 275 RPMs to swiftly pluck feathers and remove debris from a properly scalded bird. The Yardbird has an integrated irrigation ring and includes a Y-valve that connects to and splits the incoming garden hose helping to flush plucked feathers out of the plucker through the oversized discharge chute. The extra large wheels help maneuver the unit to and from storage with ease and help create an extra stable 4-legged platform that is open in front allowing for the use of a feather collection bucket. When you are done, wrap your cords and hoses on the included hooks and hose wraps, storing them in place for the next use.
