Product Overview

In late Spring snip the scapes from the head of the garlic plant to channel the energy to the bulb formation. Scapes are a delicious early season garlic treat. Separate the individual cloves just prior to planting and plant with roots down and pointy side up so that the tip is about 5 cm (2”) below the soil surface. Cover with a layer of mulch such as leaves or straw to provide insulation from fluctuatingtemperatures in winter and spring. Remove the mulch in early spring.
