The Generac 26KW home standby generator is the largest air cooled generator we make that provides reliable backup power for homes. Powered by a 999cc G-Force 1000 series engine running on propane it delivers 26KW while on natural gas it delivers 22.5 KW of electricty. New alternator design that produces 230LRA or 55.2kVA starting power to meet today’s demanding electrical needs. Generac's True Power technology produces smooth, clean power for sensitive electronics. Monitor generator status remotely with Mobile Link Wi-Fi connectivity. The tough aluminum enclosure with RhinoCoat finish resists corrosion in any weather. Quiet-Test mode runs self-tests at lower RPMs, reducing noise. The LCD Evolution controller tracks maintenance needs in multiple languages. Transfer switch and battery sold separately. Battery can be 12V 26R 540CCA min or AGM Group 35 with 650 CCA with top terminals on both.
