Holiday Projects: Initially Yours

Personalize standard glass votive holders  by monogramming the holder with aluminum duct tape. To create, simply cut the tape to length and place tape shiny side down. Work on a very soft surface such as a stack of newspapers or a phone book. Place the initial you wish to emboss reversed on top of the tape. Outline and fill in the space with a ball point pen to emboss the tape. Remove paper backing on the tape and stick tape to the glass votive. Use as a votive holder or a mini vase for a place card marker.

Variations: Use festive words such as Noël, Family, and Snow etc.
