The Aurora Haskap was developed by the University of Saskatchewan and is considered to be one of the top producing varieties. It produces deep blue, chewy fruit that tastes like a cross between a blueberry and a raspberry. This Haskap requires a compatible pollinator such as Borealis, Tundra, Honeybee, or Indigo Gem. Aurora shows high resistance to mildew, excellent cold tolerance and is low maintenance, making it an excellent selection for the northern climates.
