What You'll Need

• 8/4" x 12" x 25' pine
• 8/4" x 6" x 5' pine
• 1" x 12" (24) black nipple threaded pipe 3238-954
• 1" black floor flange (48) 3238-231
• 4" casters (6) 2324-109
• Flat Black Rust Coat
• Wood-Shield Best Semi-transparent Stain (shown natural cedar) 1866-868
• 1 1/2" x #14 (100) wood screws 2174-444

Here's How

• Base: Cut 1/2" x 1" deep loose tongue joint between one 8/4" x 12" and 8/4" x 6". Rip tongue to fit. Glue and clamp.
• Shelves: Cut 8/4" x 12" to 5' lengths, and sand smooth.
• Stain all boards as desired. Let dry.
• Attach flanges in the centre and 1/2" from the edges at each end to the top and bottom of each shelf.
• Attach flanges to the top of the base in the same position as the shelves. Attach casters to the bottom of the base, in the centre and the four corners.
• Thread one end of pipe into the flanges of the base and the other end into the flanges on a shelf. Continue threading pipe into the flanges until all shelf tiers are assembled. Fasten the top shelf with screws.
