Shell Thermashield™ Extended Life Coolant+Antifreeze contains a proprietary formulation of premium corrosion inhibitors that provide extended protection against rust, corrosion, and pitting caused by cavitation on all coolant system metals. SHELL THERMASHIELD™ provides excellent protection against temperature extremes, preventing freeze-up down to -64°C and boil-over up to 136°C (using a 100 kilopascal (15 psi) radiator cap in good condition) when used in accordance with engine manufacturer and product manufacturer’s recommendations.
