PWR CAB screws are specially designed for use in cabinet construction and installation. The #10 gauge 1-3/16" PWR CAB is intended for "cabinet to cabinet" installation, as the threads are designed for fastening two pieces of 5/8" melamine. At the same time, both #10-gauge PWR CAB are code-compliant for fastening the cabinets to the wall. The unique no-pre-drilling "drill tip" of the PWR CAB prevents splitting and will allow this screw to work with both wood and metal studs. The super-wide head design with aggressive nibs provides both the necessary thrust and the best finish possible. The PWR CAB can offer a flush, semi-countersunk, or completely countersunk finish and is supplied in colors to match most melamine used in modern cabinet interiors. It is also fully compatible with the 9/16" adhesive caps for the most demanding jobs.
